Mayor's Council of Tarrant County

The Tarrant County Mayors' Council was established in 1975, and promotes development, redevelopment, and renewal aimed at combating community deterioration.The Council acts as an advisory committee to the Commissioners Court for the distribution of Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) funds. This council addresses a variety of issues that cross city boundaries, and is comprised of the mayors of 38 cities located wholly or partly within Tarrant County and meets every other month.
