Application to Serve on an Advisory Board, Commission, or Council Seat

  1. Thank you for your interest in serving your community. Input from residents is key to the success of any city.

Appointments are at the sole discretion of the City Council. Typically, applications are evaluated during late summer and appointments are made at Council's regular meeting in September. This schedule may be adapted as needed. Additionally, if there are vacancies, sometimes appointments are made out of cycle.

Please apply at any time, and the City Secretary's Office will keep your application on file until the next appointment opportunity. Not all fields are required. However, applicants are encouraged to provide complete information. Council reserves the right to remove from consideration any incomplete application.

Please review all eligibility requirements and ensure that your schedule allows for you to attend your board's regular meetings. Visit cityofkennedale.com/boards to find links to each board, which include information about their regular meeting schedule.
