On June 4, at 6:15 a.m., a 70-year-old victim was walking on Autumnwood Court when he was approached by three vehicles driving together. Two of the vehicles were described as a white 4-door sedan and a red 4-door sedan. A description of the third vehicle was unavailable. A male suspect exited the white sedan and displayed a small firearm. The victim raised his hands while the suspect, who never said anything, removed the victim’s cell phone before getting back in the vehicle. The victim was not injured during the offense. All three vehicles left the neighborhood together. The phone was “pinged” by dispatch and showed to be in the area of Vesta Farley Road and Loop 820. A search of the area for the vehicles and the suspect was unsuccessful.
The suspect was described as a young black male, under age 30. The firearm was described as a small black weapon. The police department is asking for assistance from anyone who may have witnessed these vehicles or who may have home security video of the vehicles driving in the neighborhood.
