On January 20, 2017, the Subway restaurant in Kennedale’s TownCenter was robbed at gunpoint by two males who left on foot. Detectives traced possible suspects to Fort Worth, where it was believed that they had committed multiple robberies in the past few months. On Tuesday, February 7, 2017, Fort Worth detectives arrested several individuals for numerous robberies, including the Kennedale Subway. The weapons and clothing used were also recovered.
