05/04 - Theft $50 to $500 - 500 block of North Road: At 7:29 a.m. a victim reported to police that her Samsung Galaxy tablet was stolen from her residence. A possible suspect listed was a male that assisted the victim in moving into the home. The missing item was valued at $150.00.
05/04 - Injury to a Child - 100 block of Mineral Street: A detective received a CPS report on an injured child. The child was reported by a church worked to have several suspicious bruises and marks. Investigation by the detective revealed the child to be special needs and the injuries were self-inflicted. The child has been receiving counseling for the behavior, which had not been reported to the church workers. The case was closed with no offense occurring.
05/04 - Injury to a Child - 400 block of Municipal Drive: A detective received a CPS report of abuse on a 14 year old victim who was deceased. The report indicated the address of occurrence was in Crowley, not Kennedale. The case was forwarded to Crowley P.D. for investigation.
05/04 - Indecency With a Child - 400 block of Municipal Drive: A detective received a CPS report of sexual abuse of an 8 year old female victim by an 18 year old male suspect. Preliminary investigation revealed that the incident occurred at an address in Arlington several years ago. The case was referred to Arlington P.D.
05/07 - Burglary - 200 block of Village Street: At 11:50 a.m. a victim reported the burglary of a storage shed. The victim was unsure at the time of the report if anything was missing.
05/08 - Theft $50 to $500 - 100 block of W. Kennedale Parkway: At 7:07 p.m. a victim reported that a male and female suspect entered her retail store and removed several household and clothing items. The suspects left with the items concealed on their persons and failed to pay for them.
