02/25 - DWI - 1200 block of W. Kennedale Parkway: At 10:02 p.m. officers were dispatched to an accident. On arrival a witness stated that he was driving on Kennedale Parkway when a vehicle left a liquor store in the 1300 block. The vehicle was driven by a 55 year old male suspect who appeared to officers to be intoxicated. The suspect refused to submit to testing to determine his sobriety and was placed under arrest at the scene. He was transported to the Mansfield jail where a warrant was obtained for a mandatory blood draw. The suspect had multiple convictions on his record for DWI, making this arrest a felony.
02/26 - Possession of Drug Paraphernalia - 7200 block of E. I-20: At 8:55 a.m. an officer stopped a vehicle for a traffic violation. During the contact, marijuana paraphernalia was observed in plain view. The driver was cited and released for the items found. All items were placed into evidence.
02/26 - Theft $50 to $500 - 100 block of S. Dick Price Road: At 2:10 p.m. a victim reported to police that a cooler was stolen from his flatbed work truck. The cooler was taken during the overnight hours and was valued at $312.00. The truck was parked in his driveway.
02/28 - Hit and Run Accident - 1200 block of W. Kennedale Parkway: At 1:12 p.m. a victim reported that a white Chevrolet Tahoe struck his vehicle, a 2001 Dodge Caravan, while it was parked in a parking lot. The Tahoe driver left without contacting the victim with reporting information.
