11/09 - Aggravated Assault - 300 block of Spring Branch: At 10:33 a.m. officers were dispatched to a domestic disturbance. On arrival a male victim reported that he and his estranged wife had been arguing when she assaulted him with a hammer. The victim stated that the wife called him from her residence and asked if her purse was in his car. The two do not live together at present. The victim found the purse and brought it to the suspect. An argument began and the suspect struck the victim with a hammer when he refused to leave the premises. The female was arrested and transported to jail for booking.

11/09 - Assault by Threat - 500 block of North Road: At 12:03 p.m. a 49 year old female reported a domestic disturbance to police. The female stated that she and her 28 year old son had gotten into an argument and the son had threatened to harm her. The son had left when officers arrived but was located nearby shortly after. The son was violent in his threats to the mother even after being taken into custody by officers. He was arrested for the threats and booked into jail.

11/10 - Possession of Drug Paraphernalia - 5600 block of Loop 820 Service Road: At 5:35 p.m. an officer stopped a male pedestrian for a crosswalk violation. During the interview the officer attempted to remove two knives from the male's pockets. The male removed a container from his pocket and swallowed the contents before the officer could stop him. The item was a filter used to ready heroin for injection. The filter contained a trace amount of heroin, as did the container. The male stated to the officer that he had used heroin an hour before encountering the officer. The pedestrian was cited for the drug paraphernalia and released.

11/11 - Assault Bodily Injury (Family Member) - 6300 block of Tealcove Drive: At 7:33 p.m. officers were dispatched to assist the Fire Department on a medical call. The call was the result of a domestic disturbance between a brother and sister who are sharing an apartment. The two were arguing over rent money when the brother became violent toward the sister. He picked up a large piece of glass form a table top and threw it at her. She obtained a knife for self defense and they fought over the knife. Both were injured during the fight and required medical treatment. Charges will be filed at a later date.

11/12 - Missing Juvenile - 700 block of Woodland Court: At 9:28 a.m. an officer received a report of a missing 17 year old male from the teen's parents. The teen suffers from drug addiction-induced mental illness and had left the residence at 9:00 a.m. He told his mother that he was walking to Dallas to buy drugs. The teen had recently been released from a drug addiction and mental health treatment facility.
