A Winter Storm Warning is now in effect for much of North Texas. Rain will transition to freezing rain, the sleet and snow. Significant accumulations of ice and snow/sleet will result in hazardous driving conditions.
City Offices including City Hall, the Library, and the Senior Center will be CLOSED Thursday, February 3, due to inclement weather. Below is an update from ERCOT for a “Winter Weather Watch” effective through Sunday. Updates on the storm will be available from NPS as it progresses. If an when ice begins accumulating on bridges and/or roadways, the public is urged to refrain from driving if possible. Ensure that your pets are not left outdoors in freezing temperatures. This page will be updated to include warming shelters if and when they become necessary and available.
