04/13 - Theft $1,500 to $20,000 - 100 block of Briarwood Road: At 6:45 a.m. officers responded to a theft report. A victim reported that person(s) unknown came into her back yard and removed multiple mowers and other lawn care equipment. The total value of the items stolen was placed at $4,320.00 by the victim.
04/13 - Vehicle Burglary - 500 block of Gail Drive: At 10:40 a.m. an officer met with a city employee in regards to a burglary of city property. Person(s) unknown entered the city well site property by cutting the fence and removed items from a storage trailer on the property. No value on the items was given at the time of the report.
04/13 - Fraudulent Use/Possession of Identifying Information - At 2:15 p.m. an adult brother and sister came to the Police Department to report that their identities had been used to file fraudulent tax returns.
04/13 - Fraudulent Use/Possession of Identifying Information - 1100 block of Colbi Street: At 5:48 p.m. a victim reported that his personal information had been used to file a fraudulent tax return.
04/14 - Possession of Marijuana, Possession of Controlled Substance - 100 block of Peach Tree Court: At 3:25 a.m. an officer stopped a vehicle for a traffic violation. During the interview he officer discovered a marijuana pipe in plain view on the console. During a subsequent probable cause search of the vehicle a baggie of marijuana was discovered. The driver, a 25 year old male, was arrested and transported to the jail for booking. During the booking the male was discovered to be in possession of cocaine hidden in his wallet. He was charged with possession of both narcotics.
04/14 - Theft Under $50 - 100 block of Peach Tree Court: At 12:03 p.m. a victim reported to officers that person(s) unknown had removed her son's medication. The suspect(s) came to the victim's home over the weekend with her ex-boyfriend.
04/14 - Fraudulent Use/Possession of Identifying Information - 400 block of Coker Valley Drive: At 6:13 p.m. a victim reported that her identity was used to file a fraudulent tax return.
04/16 - Fraudulent Use/Possession of Identifying Information - 100 block of Meadow Lake Court: At 1:29 p.m. a victim reported that her husband's identity was used to file a fraudulent tax return.
