KPD Press Release: Panhandlers
The City of Kennedale does have an ordinance prohibiting panhandling within 50 feet of gas pumps, ATMs, and other locations where money is readily exchanged for goods and services. If you see a panhandler and are concerned with their behavior or are met with aggressive tactics, call 9-1-1 to ask for assistance. Do not confront them. Walk away and let the police handle it.

Kennedale Parkway Sidewalks Project Begins
A project to install approximately five miles of six-foot-wide sidewalks on both sides of Kennedale Parkway begins the week of January 12, 2015. Construction will initiate on the southwest side at 1125 W. Kennedale Parkway (just south of the new Burger King) and extend to Eden Road. On the northeast side, sidewalks will be installed from Bowman Springs Road to Tower Drive.
