KKB invites the community to join them for an educational event about tree planting and care, followed by a Q&A session with special guest speaker Arborist Ryan Elliott, owner of Treehugger.

The Board of Adjustment hears resident requested appeals of decisions made by the city staff in their interpretation of the city’s planning and zoning ordinances.
The Building Board of Appeals Hears appeals of orders, decisions, or determinations made by the building official in their application interpretation of the technical provisions of the various building codes adopted by the city, and demolition of sub-standard structures.
Members serve on both boards. Meetings are only held when there are cases to consider.

KKB engages residents and businesses to take greater responsibility for improving the community’s appearance and environment. They also develop and coordinate beautification-related programming, outreach, and events, and serve as the Tree Advisory Board and the Tree City USA liaison.

Food Pantry Day at The Mission Store at First United Methodist Church Kennedale. The Food Pantry is open every 2nd and 4th Tuesday from 4:00 to 5:00 p.m., serving Kennedale residents in need.
