Rain or Shine!

If the weather is bad, we'll move the event into City Hall,
which is just across the park from the Library.

Want to Host a Trunk and pass out candy?

Register Online!

Any family, business, or community group is welcome to participate. This is a great opportunity to pass out information about your organization or upcoming community events.

There is no cost to host a trunk. All that we ask is that you decorate your trunk (there are great ideas on Pinterest), be in place by 4:30 p.m., and have enough candy or treats for at least 500 kiddos. Games, costumes, themes, music, and anything festive is encouraged. Make your "trunk" as elaborate as you'd like, but please nothing too scary. This is aimed at elementary-aged children. Thank you for helping us to make this event a success!

This Free Event Has Something for All Ages!

  • Trunk-or-Treating in the Library parking lot (316 W 3rd St.)
  • Pumpkin Palooza! in TownCenter Park (405 Municipal Dr., behind the Library), featuring: pumpkin painting*, cotton candy, and chalk art
  • Craft Fair, Raffle, and Cake Walk hosted by Kennedale Community Theatre in the Park
* There are a limited number of pumpkins (250) so please stop by the "back porch" of the Library (inside the park) as soon as you can!

Thank you to the Youth Advisory Council, the Kennedale Public Library, the Kennedale Senior Citizen Center, and Kennedale Community Theatre in the Park for hosting this community event!

If you have any questions, please feel free to contact City Secretary Leslie Galloway at 817-985-2104 or lgalloway@cityofkennedale.com.
