Mission Statement:

Kennedale Fire / Rescue is devoted to providing the highest quality fire, rescue, emergency medical services, and hazardous materials emergency response to our residents and visitors. More importantly we provide proactive fire prevention and public education services to increase the life safety of our residents and visitors before a problem exists.

The members of Kennedale Fire / Rescue have set an objective to enhance the respect of their community and neighboring departments by demonstrating professionalism, meeting new goals and standards, and by advancing their education and certifications.

About The Kennedale Fire Department

Located south of the Fort Worth, Texas Metroplex, The City of Kennedale is primarily a bedroom community that is home to approximately 6,100 residents covering 10 square miles. The Kennedale Fire Department proudly protects these residents as well as visitors. The Fire Department operates out of one central fire station and maintains an ISO PPC rating of 4.  

The Fire Department is a career paid department of 18 shift personnel and typically operates a Quint (Ladder Truck/Pumper Combination) and an MICU (Mobil Intensive Care Unit) Ambulance. We also provide a regional hazardous material response team to cover the South East Tarrant County area.  We take great pride in our ability to serve our citizens in an average response time of 4 minutes or less.
